Using Application
Secured Login
- Every customer has own license. 'User Login' icon enable access to private databases.
- License is prepared by Willow Solutions based on selected contract.
- Application works only when connected to internet.
Management of Flight Data
- User can store processed pairs of Flight Plans and Flight Tracks to file stored locally in computer to keep them secured.
- The selection of subset of of pairs will be prepared for comparison how the correction parameters are changing in time.
- The list is possible to modify by "Load a new Flight Plan and Flight Track" or by deleting selected items.
Analyses: Flight Plan versus Flight Track
-
From the Analytic Messages you will learn a set of information about the entire nature of the flight and the difference between the plan and the actual recorded flight. These types of differences are calculated:
• Differences in the planned distance and the actual track for the entire flight and individual flight segments.
• Differences in planned and actual fuel consumption for the entire flight and each flight segment.
• Difference in the amount of fuel on board at take-off.
• Differences in planned and forecast weather conditions.
• Calculation of actual carbon dioxide emissions. - Factors are calculated values that compare the different phases of flight. The factors can be used as correction parameters for flight planning calibration.
-
Various comparisons of key flight data series in graphical form can be selected in the Chart window. These views are available:
• Planned altitude profile vs. actual flight time. Missing altitudes in climb and descent are interpolated. • Speed profiles. The planned airspeed profile is shown as shown in the flight plan, even with odd values during taxi, climb and descent. • Planned altitude profile as a function of actual flight distance. Missing altitudes in Climb and Descent are interpolated. • Side view to show differences in track latitude and longitude. - Process reports are used to evaluate the actual data processing and missing data for each type of analysis.
Analyses: Flight Track versus Aircraft Performance
- The application detects suitable points from the flight track and compares them with official performance charts with advanced processing support.
- In a standard non-testing application, AI is used to analyze for more complex assessments and fill in performance gaps.
Multiple flights analysis
- Selected pairs of flight plans and tracks can be compared to see how the quality of planning improves over time.
- The view can also be used to monitor how aircraft performance changes over time. It can be used to identify fuel quality problems or aircraft drag issues.
